About the photographer
We are wedding photographers for all of Cornwall and beyond, including Penzance, Newquay, Truro, Falmouth and Plymouth. Andrew’s Photography is a husband and wife team. Andrew is a qualified and insured full-time professional photographer. He is a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the Master Photographers Association. We provide coverage for weddings, portraits and event photography.
Far from merely providing a record of the day, we combine a reportage and journalistic approach with an elegant, fashion-magazine style. As you can see from our gallery. we aim to be different. At weddings Andrew is the main photographer and Gill supplements by capturing “behind the scenes” moments and important details. The result is a story full of variety, capturing the fun and romance of your day. That’s why we like to cover your special day from the bride getting ready through to the reception. We feel that it is important to schedule an informal, romantic photoshoot of the bride and groom taking advantage of Cornwall’s outstanding coastal and other scenery to give you images you will treasure forever. We create a beautiful DVD set to music which many of our clients say is better than a video and design a luxury storybook album to showcase your photographs.

Wedding Photography
Your special day is the culmination of your dreams and careful planning so it makes sense to have an experienced professional to capture those precious memories forever.
To capture those unique moments requires sensitivity, time and forethought. We therefore cover only one wedding in a day. We listen carefully in the initial consultation and help you plan the photographs you want. We also meet up with you at the venues a week or so before the wedding so that we are thoroughly familiar with the arrangements. I always work with an assistant so that I can concentrate on your photography.
We combine traditional with the the more creative styles of photography so as to provide you with a story of the day as well as those classic images you can be proud to display around the home. For the luxury, reportage style wedding there is not set limit to the number of photos taken. Photos can be in colour, balck and white or sepia. You decide. After the wedding you will be probided with a digital portfolio and a CD slideshow of all the released images so that you can choose the photos for your album.
We have an excellent range of albums to choose from including the traditional and the storybook magazine style that provide a unique record of your day.
Portrait Photography
Portrait sessions can be carried out on location (your home) or in a studio environment. If you wish for a contemporary high key portrait then it needs to be done with a studio set up with white background and studio lights. The sitting will take about an hour and for young children needs to be at the right time of day and this is discussed beforehand
For portraits the right clothing is important. For relaxed, informal style portraits wear plain, casual clothing. Denim, cotton or linen looks good with light to mid-toned colours. For portraits with baby bare skin looks good so women with bare shoulders and arms and men without shirts is very effective.
Within one to two weeks after the sitting, Andrew will contact you and either send you thumbnail previews if not convenient to call or, ideally, come to see a slideshow of the images.

- We cover as standard the bride getting ready including beautiful window-light portraits, the ceremony, groups and part of the reception depending on the collection chosen. The result is a story in pictures of your special day

For those who do not want an album or who want to produce their own. The Collection includes up to 400 images, a DVD slideshow, all images ready to print on disk and all the images put online for friends and family to see if requested. The coverage is up to the beginning of the reception.
Contemporary
For those who want a storybook album. The Collection includes up to 400 images, a DVD slideshow, all images ready to print on disk and all the images put online for friends and family to see if requested. In addition, the Collection includes a stunning medium-sized luxury album to display your images. Each design is unique. Coverage of the photography extends to the speeches.
Ultimate
For those who want the ultimate album collection. The Collection includes up to 500 images, a DVD slideshow, all images ready to print on disk and all the images put online for friends and family to see if requested. In addition, the Collection includes a spectacular large-sized luxury album to display your images. Each design is unique. Coverage of the photography exends to the first dance. We will also set up a mini studio to take and print portraits at the reception.
Terms
Payments to be made in 3 stages. Each payment is a third of the total tariff. The first payment is made on booking. The second payment is made 90 days before the wedding and the final payment is made 28 days beforehand.
